Kerry Logistics Appoints New Managing Directors for its Entities in Spain, Portugal and Germany
Kerry Logistics has appointed Marc Porta as Managing Director of Kerry Logistics (Spain & Portugal) and Oliver Loch as Managing Director of Kerry Logistics (Germany). The appointments are a strategic move to drive Kerry Logistics’ long-term organic growth in Europe. Pushing forward the international freight forwarding (IFF) and supply chain solution businesses as well as continuously adapting and optimising our service portfolio across all industry sectors is fundamental to our strategy.
Based in Barcelona, Marc Porta has taken responsibility for furthering the business development in the two countries, focusing on integrated and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
An experienced logistics professional, Porta is responsible for steering operational and sales activities at five strategic locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia, and Porto.
The service portfolio encompasses a full suite of international freight forwarding solutions and a range of value-added services, offering integrated supply chain solutions from start to finish. For customers of various industries, our specialised teams provide project logistics services and comprehensive e-commerce solutions.
“We strive to create additional benefits for our customers by providing them with a wider product portfolio”, Marc Porta says. “Our focus is on outstanding customer service. The reputation of Kerry Logistics in Spain and Portugal is already excellent, and we will continuously improve it.”
Oliver Loch joined the team to accelerate business development in our second-largest country organisation in Europe. He heads professional teams at five locations in Hamburg, Bremen, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich.
“Driving service enhancements is of pivotal importance to further growing business with existing and new customers. We are eager to maximise synergies within our global network to keep pace with our customers’ demands, providing them with seamless and transparent solutions that impress”, Oliver Loch comments.
Leveraged by a strong global network, Kerry Logistics (Germany) provides end-to-end logistics solutions for customers in the automotive, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), industrial goods, and high-tech industries.
